This sample can be used as a geiger counter check source, and is ideal for someone wanting to collect the elements of the periodic table. As specified on Wikipedia, this ore contains "elements technetium and promethium in small quantities of around 200pg/kg and 4fg/kg respectively. This sample is from an Australian uranium mine. The dimensions of the vial are 1.5cm by 2.5cm. Using a GB18871-2002 detector this item gets from 3.38uSv/h up to 12uSv/h of gamma and beta (at a distance of 0cm from the tube, ore out of the glass container and actually touching the geiger tube). 1.03 to 2.27uSv/h of gamma and beta (at a distance of 1.5cm from the tube)with a background of 0.02uSv/h. ****Please note that I don't measure each individually, so activity will vary****Condition:New, Uranium:Pitchblende
